I can tell the kids have got it too because they are driving eachother, and me, nuts!
Last weekend in an effort to get out of the house and let the kids burn some steam we went to a park nearby. There was still quite a bit of snow on the ground, everything was wet and muddy, but it was 38 degrees which is the warmest it's been here in weeks so we had to take advantage. The kids had a blast and I got a few cute pictures. By the time we were done they were soaked and cold! So we came home, knocked back some hot chocolate, and took some naps :)

This week feels never-ending. Monday was President's day, but Hollie's school doesn't have classes on Mondays, so they decided to be closed on Tuesday instead. So Hollie was pretty bummed, and I must say so was I! I hate to sound like I look forward to pawning her off for a few hours, but I do enjoy the down time and one on one time with Mavrick. She goes back to school tomorrow, so Mav and I are going to go do something special. I don't know what yet, but we are definitely getting out of the house!
On another note, my friend Tiara and her gorgeous little boys from Indonesia are in FL for a visit. They'll be in the US for a month or so, and she was planning to come to visit me while they're here as along as it's within budget. But she's been state-side for two weeks now, and I haven't heard anything from her so I'm a little bummed. I know she is busy and trying to make time to visit all her friends and family in FL, but I was hoping to get to talk to her while she's here since it's so expensive to call Indo. I hope she knows that if she isn't able to fly in to visit us I wont be upset with her at all. (Sad yes, but mad no). I really hope she's having a good time in FL. I miss them SO much!
A trip down memory lane... *sniff, sniff*
