After dropping Hollie off at school this morning Mav and I stopped by our friend Tracy's house to pick up a water/sand table that her little boy had outgrown. I'd mentioned to her that I was going to get one for the kids to put on the back deck and she insisted we take theirs since they were going to get rid of it anyway. So when Hollie got back from school I set it up for the kids and they had a blast playing (well Mav did more throwing and eating sand than playing per say) for almost two hours. I played with them for a while and was able to get a few things done while they were happily distracted :)
This evening we went to a Rodeo Club meeting. Wasn't really all that exciting, but Hollie had fun playing with her cousins and new friends. And I found out they are really interested in me shooting at events and possibly selling photos. Apparently they have a few photographers that shoot at bigger events, but none that take pictures of the local youth rodeo events. So I have some thinking and planning to do, but I'm looking forward to the opportunity.
