Branding and my sweet boy

I was about to get on the computer to do this last night when Dennis called me over to his computer to look at possible logos for my photography business. He has traded talent shall we say with a girl that he works with. She is a graphic designer and has experience branding companies, coming up with their logo designs and web page designs. Dennis has done some work for her in the past and she has agreed to brand my business in return. (It's nice to know the right people, eh?!)
I gave her a vague idea of what I had in mind and found some examples of other logos I liked and she worked up a few different designs for me to look at. I felt pretty bad about the fact that I didn't like anything she had done, but we ended up talking with her for a couple hours and came up with a general design that I really like. I haven't seen the finished product yet, but I'm excited for the reveal. This logo will set the mood for my entire webpage, business cards, stationary, and will also be the watermark for my photos. Hopefully I'll be able to show you the finished product in a few days :)

About yesterday's photo. It was a spur of the moment picture that I took while cooking dinner. Mavrick was playing with his train on the kitchen floor when he decided to sprawl out on his belly and investigate closer. He sometimes lays on his belly while playing but not very often, and it is so cute when he does so I had to grab the camera quick! It reminds me so much of my brother. He used to lay on his belly and play with his cars when we were kids :)
Yesterday was a busy. We ran some errands in the morning, then went over to our friends house to play and have a picnic lunch. When we got home the kids took naps while I did some much needed house cleaning. Dennis even thanked me when he got home from work that's how desperately it needed cleaning, HA! Once the kids woke up we went oustside and planted the rest of our flowers in containers and enjoyed the sunshine before dinner. A good day :)
